Employee Spotlight: Jason Bathrick, Inside Sales Representative

Have you met Jason Bathrick, our inside sales representative? Jason works closely with our prospects to help them understand how IKE can assist with their measuring needs. His positive attitude is infectious, and we’re glad to have Jason on the team. Let’s take a moment to learn more about Jason.

Please describe your role.

As the inside sales representative, I’m responsible for growing the IKE brand. This includes working directly with potential customers to understand the types of projects they’re undertaking, what type of information they need to collect, and through the IKE device, offer them a solution on how they can provide a deliverable to their customers in the fastest and most efficient way possible.

What were you doing before you joined ikeGPS?

I worked with an international shipping company, and we were tasked to handle all of the logistics for companies that imported and exported goods. It was interesting learning about the supply chain business and dealing with port strikes.

Why did you decide to join ikeGPS?

I joined ikeGPS because we quite simply offer awesome products, and I believe we can make people’s lives easier when they have to go out and take remote measurements.

What do you love about working at ikeGPS most?

It would have to be the people. Everyone at ikeGPS is extremely talented and also fun loving, so it makes for a great place to work.

What did you want to be when you grow up?

I wanted to be a professional soccer player for Liverpool FC.

What are some of your favorite outside office activities?

I like to go skiing, fly fishing, play guitar, and hang out with friends and family.

If you could create your perfect meal, what would it be?

I miss a lot of the restaurants my wife and I used to go to in Chicago. So probably any Chicago Deep Dish or Shaw’s Crab House.

What’s your dream vacation?

I’d love to go fly fishing in New Zealand. It has beautiful scenery and monster trout.
