A Recap of all the Spike News Announced During the Esri UC

The Spike team exhibited at the 2019 Esri User Conference in San Diego, California, which is a big event for global geospatial professionals and Esri users, boasting close to 20,000 attendees. During the conference we made several big announcements regarding Spike, so check out the recap below and be in the know on what’s coming soon with Spike:

Spike Integration with Esri’s Collector for ArcGIS – Call for Contributors

Building on the proven integration of the Spike laser measurement device with ArcGIS, we are pleased to share that we will begin working on an integration between Spike and Esri’s premier field data collection app, Collector. Integration development between the two apps is planned for late 2019 and is forecasted to be ready in time for the 2020 field season.

We are now inviting the Spike and Esri user communities to participate in a feedback working group to support the development of the integration. By participating in this group, users will be able to provide their requirements for this integration, contribute to development, and be part of beta testing. To signup, please complete this form

Coming Soon: Spike Measurements for Cityworks Workflows

Cityworks will soon launch an integration with Spike, creating a workflow that makes mobile asset data collection more accurate and comprehensive, while saving time and resources. Users will be able to inspect, assess, locate, and report assets from a mobile device, simply by taking a photo with Spike and the Cityworks mobile app. Field crews can better contribute detailed data and photos to the ArcGIS system of record, resulting in data-driven decisions.
